Your Event Checklist

So the big day is coming up. Are you prepared?
We have put together a few tips and a checklist of key things to include in
your preparation so you are all set come race day.
Pre-Event preparation:
• Prepare body and bike in advance

• Train with the nutrition you plan to race with.
• Practice using the various gears your bike has.
• Check your tyres, look for worn spots and if any cuts/slits or bald spots you are best to replace them.
• Make sure you know how to change a flat tyre and practice in case you need do this out on the road. Ensure you carry a replacement inner tube or spare tubular with you in case of the unexpected. Gas canisters are an easy and efficient way to inflate your tyres enabling you to achieve great pressure super quickly.
• Give your bike a treat - give it a pre-race clean, safety check or a service to ensure it is in fine working order for race/event day. Don’t let your day be marred by a mechanically neglected bike.
