Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Bob's Bikes. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund. Fair Trading Act 1986 The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: * pricing; * where the product was made; * where the product is from; * the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; * availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986. Pricing All pricing (if shown) is in New Zealand Dollars. GST (Goods and Services Tax) at 15% is included within the price. Payments from customers outside of New Zealand are required to pay by Credit Card in New Zealand Dollars. We do not accept any other currency. Your credit card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion. Bob's Bikes will not cover the cost of these charges or accept responsibility for any currency conversion charges. Delivery Policy Items required to be couriered are generally sent within 1-3 days of placing your order. We can send to all addresses within New Zealand. Delivery costs are calculated when you confirm your order and are payable in full by the Customer. |
Exchange Policy
Please note each item purchased is quality control checked prior to being sent out. In the event of an exchange, items are subject to product availability. The customer will incur any shipping costs for returning items to be exchanged. We can only exchange an item for a different style, and colour, subject to our stock availability. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received (within ten days) and undergone a quality control check by us. Please be aware that you will incur an additional freight charge for the delivery of the replacement item if applicable. NB: If we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss next steps .Bob's Bikes reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any item sent back in a condition where the item has been used or damaged. Only items which Bob's Bikes can confirm as a manufacturer's fault, is new and unused will be eligible for a return or exchange. No returns or refunds are given on second-hand items. New Zealand Law Any goods supplied or sold by Bob's Bikes, are sold or supplied under contract of New Zealand Law. The Laws of sale and contract by any other country do not apply. Privacy The personal information supplied to Bob's Bikes will be stored by us on a secure server. Bob's Bikes will not share your personal information with any other third party. Whilst all care is taken to offer a secure system we cannot provide a 100% guaranteed secure system. Please note, the information you provide is provided at your own risk. |
